Jana Mellen

When you think of Rosie the Riveter—the woman on the World War II poster who pulls up her sleeve and says “We can do it!”—we might think about strength, perseverance, determination, courage, or someone who’s a hard-worker. At Magic on Main Travel, Jana Mellen is the most thoughtful Rosie the Riveter. She will fight to make sure her clients have the most incredible trip because she knows that they will cherish the memories and photos of these trips forever. Jana believes this because, although she has traveled throughout her life, her absolute favorite memory happened years ago: when she was pregnant with her third child, she brought her two starry-eyed, young kids to Walt Disney World for the first time. Within five minutes of entering the park, Peter Pan and Wendy walked over to her kids and started dancing with them in a parade. Witnessing the purest of joy in her kids’ faces is something that warms her heart to this day. Creating lasting memories like that and spreading her love of traveling is everything Jana would want for all her clients!

• Initially studied photojournalism at the University of Boston, then completed her undergrad with a psychology degree at University of Houston

• She was a cable slicer at her dad’s telephone company before going to college

• Went on her first cruise in 2021 and absolutely LOVES cruising

• Has 2 old English sheep dogs named after Harry Potter characters: Albus and Lily
